그러고 보니 2009년 늦가을에 다녀왔던 캄보디아 얘기를 미처 마무리 하지 못했군요.그 이유는 비교적 간단한데요. 킬링필드 얘기를 하려고 보니, 제가 사실 그 나라의 역사적 사실에 대해서 잘 모른다는 점을 절감했기 때문입니다.그래서 지난 겨울 동남아시아 역사에 대해서 다시 책을 끄집어 들었고, 태국과 베트남에 가려졌던 캄보디아 역사를 찬찬히 들여다 볼 기회를 가져야 했습니다. 그렇게 처음부타 다시 작업을 시작하다 보니 어느순간 5개월이 훌쩍 지나간...
